Daniel B
Prouty is an Engineering Coordinator for the Division of Nearshore
Research at the Shoreline Environmental Research Facility (CBI). He has over 15 years of
technical experience in civil and marine engineering, with expertise in
GPS and surveying. He has worked on many coastal projects for CBI,
including environmental monitoring of Corpus Christi Bay and Laguna Madre,
geoid mapping for the Texas coastline, and South Padre Island beach
nourishment, among others (M.S. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi,
1995). Currently, Dan is on leave from CBI while he gets his Ph.D in
England.
