Mass Spectrometry Systems

• Hewlett–Packard 5972A mass–selective detector interfaced to a HP-5890 II gas chromatograph equipped with a HP-7673a 100 position autosampler.  The GC/MS system is interfaced to a Pentium PC.  In addition to the operating software (EnviroQuant) a Wiley library data base of over 35,000 compounds is available.  (Two systems available).

• ThermoQuest TSQ-700 GC-LC/MS-MS. System is equipped with a Hewlett-Packard 5890 Series II gas chromatograph, a Thermo HPLC, photo-diode array, and is completely computer controlled.

 Gas Chromatography Systems

• ThermoQuest TRACEGC Chromatograph system equipped with a Flame Ionization Detector (FID) and PTV Autosampler.  System is computer controlled.

• Hewlett–Packard 6890 gas chromatograph with pulsed discharge helium ionization detector. Equipped with packed port injectors.

 Liquid Chromatography

• Dionex Ion Chromatograph 2000i with cation/anion capability; conductivity detector; integrator.

• Hewlett-Packard 1050 HPLC system.  System is computer controlled with quaternary pump, autosampler, photodiode array detector, and a fraction collector.

• Dionex 500x HPLC.  System is computer controlled with quaternary pump, autosampler, variable wavelength detector, and radioisotope detector. 

Capillary Electrophoresis Systems

• Hewlett-Packard 3D Model Capillary Electrophoresis System.  System is interfaced to a PC computer.

 Microscopes

• Olympus BH2 Universal Research Microscope with Epifluorescence, brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, and Nomarski differential interference condensors; full photomicrograph capability video output and image processing system.

• Beckman Liquid scintillation Counter LS 3801 with dedicated IBMAT compatible microcomputer for data capture and interpretation.

• Triple labeling detection Coulter Multisizer with dedicated IBM AT microcomputer; range of high resolution tubes from 30 µ to 560.
