Acrobat Tow System
The Acrobat Tow System is a submersible towed
vehicle to carry a suite of oceanographic and environmental instrumentation. The Acrobat
is computer controlled to fly at varying or constant depths for
profiling environmental conditions in the vertical and horizontal planes. All
instruments carried by the Acrobat are integrated through a custom MatLab
program that displays real time data with respect to position and simultaneously
stores the geo-referenced data analysis.
