SERF - Survey Instruments

Instruments supported by the survey vessel:

• Sequoia Scientific, LISST-100 in-situ particle size analyzer - 4 instruments available.

• Sea Bird Electronics- SBE 49, Fast Cat CTD (conductivity, temperature, depth Profiler) - 1 instrument available.

• Sea Bird Electronics- SBE 27, pH/ORP meter - 1 instrument available.

• SeaBird Electronics-SBE 19 CTD - 1 instrument available.

• WetLabs- Flash Lamp Fluorometer- to measure petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorophyll- 2 instruments available.  These are the UV single channel unit; they are no longer produced by WetLabs.

• WetLabs- SaFire In Situ Fluorometer-1 instrument available.

• Turner 10-AU Field Fluorometer- may be configured to monitor various environmental parameters (petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorophyll, fluorescent dyes).  Not towed on Acrobat TowBody System.  1 unit available.

• Garmin GPS - 4 units available.

• Knudsen- dual frequency high-power fathometer for profile bathymetry-1 unit available.

• RDInstruments, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP)  - several units available.

• WetLabs, Eco-FL3, 3 channel in-situ fluorometer for (fluoroscein, chlorophyll a, and CDOM (total petroleum hydrocarbons)- 4 instruments available

• SubChem Analyzer by SubChem Systems (nutrients including nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate ammonium, total dissolved organic matter (TDOM), Iron (II), Iron (III))
