Editing an Existing Webpage

This is by far the easiest tutorial! Editing an existing page on the CBI site is very simple, as you will see. I've even set up a "play and test" page for you to practice on.

Note: You first need to make sure with Tommy or Laurie that you have been set up with the authentication to edit CBI pages. You'll also want to have FrontPage 2003 installed on your computer.

• In your Internet Explorer Browser, surf to the page that you want to edit. For this tutorial, let's surf to http://www.serf.tamus.edu/Support/WebSupport/play.htm. Now in the IE browser menu, choose "File", and then "Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage".

• You'll be prompted for your user name, password and the domain. After you have entered this info, FrontPage will open with the page that you wish to edit. User name format is "blucher\username", the password is the same you use for your email access.

• Here is where it gets easy - just make your changes, save the page, and they are automatically published to the web!
