Bay Harbor High-Frequency Radar (BHAR)

Located just north of San Luis pass in Bay Harbor, this site is the second half of the Houston/Galveston HF Radar system. The site is a 13-MHz system and is housed in an air-conditioned 6’x8’x8’ modified shipping container. The site receives its power from the local electric provider, and access to the site for data transfer and control can be accomplished via dial-in connection.
