   In November 2002, Hannah presented a poster at the 2002 Student Research Conference during the Sigma Xi Annual Meeting in Galveston Texas. The conference was sponsored by National Institute of Environmental Health Science. Hannah's poster was entitled, "Correlation of Oil-Degrading Microbial Populations and Oil Concentrations in Samples from the Texas Coast". She won 1st Place in the Engineering category!
